The Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) 2016 is upcoming online shopping festival by Google. According to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) consumer spending in Pakistan is growing at a rapid rate of 20% per annum which is telling of how we Pakistanis love to shop. We are currently in a situation where impressive internet connectivity is available to a fast growing economy and there is presence of players such as Daraz, YayVo, Homeshopping.pk and many more. However the E-Commerce penetration still remains low in Pakistan.

Google is the largest search engine in the world, and it’s Display & Content network provides a very high reach to digital advertisers. The GOSF is a 3 day shopping festival that aims to reach over 20 MN consumers in Pakistan across all digital devices (desktop, phone & tablets).

Tentatively brands such as Unilever, Nestle, Coca-Cola, P&G, and many more have already agreed to participate in this festival. Brands can still come on board with this festival by signing up with any of their sponsorship proposals and flash deals.

This shopping festival due to be held in September is expected to be the biggest of its kind in the history of online shopping festivals in Pakistan.
